Well, a week later...why does it always seem like a lifetime "later" when I go back and read a post?
Hospitals SUCK..being a guinea pig (as much as I love the little critters) is getting REALLY old. ALL my life I've been "different"..well, at LEAST this time I have something wrong with me (along with everything else) that "normal" people get!! I have 2 torn rotator cuffs..there HAD to be SOMETHING different though...we can't figure out WHY I have them. Kind of like when I had 2 broken ankles this past Jan and never hurt myself or could figure out how THEY happened. hehee, MUST be all those wacky adventures I go on in my dreams...Thank heavens (whatever THAT means these dayz ;), I have an EXTREMELY active, imaginative dreamworld. Chris is alive and well there....
anywayz, back to the physical stuff..but ONLY for education for anyone that happens to read this. My son and I are "Aliens"..okok..maybe not REAL aliens, but we've actually had docs put that in our charts AND when I was a paramedic working in an ER, someone put my x-rays up on the board for all the students to guess what they were well, my knees are either horse hooves or an improvement on the human condition--I kinda like the latter. :) We've got Nail-Patella Syndrome, (NPS, nailpatella.org [nailpatella.org] )BUT, since *I'M* a "spontaneous mutation"--we have it to a degree the docs have never seen before. NO, I DON'T belong in a circus sideshow--most folks don't ever even notice..and it certainly didn't hinder me for most of my life. BUT, my anatomy is different than a "normal" persons". I have no kneecaps, no fingernails, ALL of my joints are different so the musculature/connective tissue is totally different. I was a gymnast, in Florida State Universities "Flying High Circus" (NOT as a sideshow but on the trapeze!!), a paramedic for almost 15years, 2 1/2yrs of med school, microbiologist, head veterinary tech/zoologicaltech for a zoo, website developer/administrator, counselor, meditation teacher---OH, did I mention that another part of NPS is ADD??!! :) Who ME??!! OK, enough writing before I get political and bitch about the "state" of this so-called "democracy" I live in. OH...THATS right...George can't read right??!! SO, HE thinks that Independence Day means "get all my rich friends out of jail" Day!!! uuhhmmm what about the border patrol guards unlawfully imprisoned??!! Gosh, I'm sorry...SO STUPID!! I FORGOT, they're not on the guest list...just "poor" peons". I'll shut up now before the secret service discovers *I'M* not on the guest list either....maybe I'll be back to REALLY rant..about our health care system, so called "education", the poor sitting ducks..I mean our POOR soldiers, (and THAT I DO mean, in both ways you can take it) over protecting Georgies oil stocks...SCOOTER *WHO*??!! OHOH, the meaning of "Independance Day", yea....everyone have a GREAT DAY!! :) Sincerely!! :) I'm going to read, listen to WONDERFUL music, drink a gallon of chai...and maybe even try out my new circular saw!! Just don't tell anyone there's a blind woman with dislocated arms and torn rotator cuffs playing with a circular saw trying to creatively make a headboard/bookcase!! Peace Ya'll!!
